Hailing from the beautiful area known as Byron Bay, but currently writing and playing in Melbourne, the four piece group, The Lovely Days, give us the brand spanking new track, “Blondie” from forthcoming self titled debut that will be out on September 18th.

Composed of brother’s Holden and Tennyson Nobel and school friends Marley Berry-Pearce and Stephen Dickie, The Lovely Days recorded their debut album in the lounge room of their family home, capturing an honest and emotional album.

Their harmonies are reminiscent of such bands like the The Doobie Brothers, America, Steely Dan. The three part harmonies of The Lovely Day capture the classic sounds of an era gone by but are the epitome of what is hip and cool in today’s music scene.

They’ll be at Melbourne’s John Curtin Hotel on September 18th for the official album release party and we hope you catch them live!

We look forward to hearing the full length and seeing The Lovely Days on their musical journey!

Check out “Blondie” below and let us know your thoughts. The words and music for “Blondie” was written by Holden and Tennyson Nobel.
