That’s the exact statement that came out of my mouth. “WHOA.”
I stumbled onto THIEF when fellow musician LANKS tweeted about this song.
What I dig about the song is that it starts out with minimal music. Just a beat and a synthetic sound and then the real beat drops. Musically I think it’s a sexy and dirty song with a bit of grit and fun. Once the chorus starts, if you’re not dancing or at least couch dancing then something might be wrong with you.
