Today’s track of the day comes from Irish rockers Kodaline. I first heard them in 2012 when their song “All I Want” hit the British charts. The video (s) made me cry and the song was eventually featured in Google’s 2012 Year In Review (which is a wicked cool thing I had no idea they did and worth a watch just for the sake of “Hey I Forgot that happened”). Their songs have a aching hopefulness to them and that appeals to me, and makes me cry apparently. They just released their newest album, Coming Up For Air and I am loving it all. Piano heavy with harmonies, this song reminds me a bit of the soundtrack to Once. I like it. Enjoy.
