Australia’s New Premier Bass Music Festival – Distortion, launches and throws down huge international line up including NGHTMRE, Zomboy, Danny Bird, Moksi, Slumberjack and more!
Distortion, Australia’s latest bass music extravaganza, is gearing up to shake the foundations of four major cities in February 2024. Distortion is a fusion of dynamic sounds celebrating Electronic, Dubstep, Trap, Electro House and Drum & Bass genres, which have surged in popularity, both Down Under and on the international stage.
Throughout the month of February, Distortion is gearing up to transform top-tier venues at the Hordern Pavilion in Sydney, Eatons Hills Outdoors in Brisbane, AEC Theatre in Adelaide & the Red Hill Auditorium in Perth, into a dance-floor mecca with a perfect blend of selectors from around the globe and locally.
Pre-sales commence Thursday 9th November at 11am (local), before tickets go on sale to the general public at 11am (local), Tuesday 14th November.
Taking the lead at Distortion is NGHTMRE, a global force in modern dance music. NGHTMRE has collaborated with Zhu, The Chainsmokers, A$AP Ferg, Tory Lanez, Oliver Tree, Dillon Francis and many more. The celebrated Los Angeles-based producer is making his triumphant return to Australian shores for the first time since his solo tour in 2019.
Joining the ranks is Zomboy, who left an indelible mark on Aussie fans during his unforgettable performances at Touch Bass in 2019. With a remarkable track record that boasts almost 170 million combined streams on Spotify, and an astonishing 1 billion combined streams on YouTube, Zomboy has firmly established himself as a pioneer in the world of bass music.
The line up also boasts international talents such as Moksi from Amsterdam’s ‘Barong Family’, the UK’s Drum & Bass maestro Danny Byrd, and Australian electronic music duo – Slumberjack.
Supporting these global names, are two local talents that are set to shine brightly, the reigning dubstep queen, Godlands, and the formidable drum & bass sensation, Sammythesinner. Prepare to be transported to a realm where the beats hit hard, and the basslines rumble your very core.
