Far from the sound that was Good Charlotte, but just as hooky and infectious you can tell that Joel & Benji Madden have grown up and matured.
The sound of The Madden Brothers are very reminiscent to the sounds of the late 60’s likes of the Mamas and the Papas, The Byrds, and so on. The specific sound is showcased on the first single “We Are Done” in all of it’s glory, but the 2nd single, “California Rain” from their forthcoming album GREETINGS FROM CALIFORNIA, out Sept 16th, still has that throwback sound of an era gone by with a touch of how current alternative rock/alternative music is now.
We are really digging the sound of The Madden Brothers and are looking forward to the release of the new album.
