NUGGETS OF KNOWLEDGE: Yeshe was born near Dusseldorf and journeyed through the villages of West Africa and Zimbabwe learning sounds of Africa and crafting his sound. The centerpiece of his music is the ‘Mbira’ of the Shona people of Zimbabwe and the ‘Kamele Ngoni’ of the Bambara people of Burkina Faso. We have had the extreme pleasure to see Yeshe live and we reccomend that if he’s in your town, that you do the same. You will not regret it. It’s truly an amazing show.
