Living practically in Canada (aka Detroit, MI), I’ve been listening to a lot of CBC Radio 2 and the morning show host Tom Powers, is always claiming Canadian musician, Adam Baldwin, as Canada’s answer to Bruce Springsteen.
At first listen, I was quick to think, nah, but as I sat and listened more and more to Adam’s self titled EP (available now at Bandcamp), I understand the comparison. He’s got the vocal roughness that is signature Springsteen and the looks of 80’s Springsteen.
His song writing is solid and the music is strong. It’s hard to anyone’s answer to “The Boss,” but Adam is about as close as you can come.
