Nashville band, Stop Motion Radio, released their debut in March (on the 25th to be exact) and it is absolutely fantastic. SMR has a distinct vibe, but I catch glimpses of 80’s synth fun (“I Was Born a Liar” and “Follow You Down”) and pieces of vocals that would be Ben Gibbard+Matt Devine’s love child.
This album is ranking up there as the discovery of the week!
