We found Vienna through Twitter. (We actually do listen to every band that DM’s us a link to their music.) Vienne is based in Minneapolis and is a “progressive dance rock group” (their words) and is made up of Shawn Vaughan (Lead Vocals, Guitar, Synth), Ben Fearnside (Guitar, Backing Vocals), and Brent Wassell (Bass, Backing Vocals).
They have interesting sound. Though they call themselves a progressive dance rock group, it’s not quite progressive, not quite dance, and not quite rock. It is pieces of the genres and it somehow works.
