WATCH: MJ Lenderman & The Wind’s Tiny Desk Concert

[MEDIA RELEASE] MJ Lenderman’s Manning Fireworks (ANTI-) was one of 2024’s most beloved and critically acclaimed albums, with The Wall Street Journal crowning the album “one of the best indie-rock records of the year” and a wide selection of publications internationally placing the album in their albums of the year lists.

Following a completely sold-out North American tour and a late-night television debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Lenderman & his band, The Wind, have now made their NPR Tiny Desk Concert debut. A stripped-down performance, MJ Lenderman & the Wind performed Manning Fireworks highlights “Wristwatch”, “You Don’t Know The Shape I’m In”, and “Rip Torn” along with “Catholic Priest” from Lenderman’s 2021 album, Ghost ofYour Guitar Solo.

MJ Lenderman & The Wind have just kicked off the second leg of their North American tour, playing shows throughout the South and West Coast. In March, they’ll tour Australia and New Zealand, including a headline performance at the iconic Sydney Opera House on Tuesday, March 25th, before returning to  Europe and the UK for headline shows and festival appearances, including stops at Primavera Sound and Øya Festival.
