Inspired by a dream road trip along California’s Pacific Coast Highway, “Santa Cruz” channels the freedom of the open road while reflecting on personal struggles against societal expectations. The track, as Andrea Parker describes,
“’Santa Cruz’ is about coming from a background of low expectation and ambition, of being told you would never be good enough or in the right social circles to realise ambition or dreams, of being told to stay in your lane.”
