The Dollyrots know exactly who they are and “Get On This Ride” proves that’s a good thing. Packed tight with kinetic riffs, punchy drums, and the kind of sing-shout chorus that practically begs for a dive off the front of the stage, this track barrels forward with the confidence of a band who’ve been in the game long enough to stop second-guessing anything.
Kelly Ogden leads the charge with a voice that crackles with charm and urgency, while Luis Cabezas’ guitar work shreds its way through a power-pop frame with punk rock bite. The song clocks in under three minutes, but still finds time to swing hard, smile wide, and leave just enough tire smoke behind to remind you it was here.
It’s catchy. It’s loud. With breakneck hooks, big grins, no brakes, no regrets, it’s The Dollyrots doing what they do best. Having a damn good time and inviting one along for the ride.
