Bitter Kisses settles with confidence into their identity and the collaboration with ChuggaBoom is a focused snarl and attitude that is channeled directly into the track without relying on sonic overload. As I said earlier, with “Friend or Faux”, the band is no longer experimenting with what they might be and are presenting themselves as a unit that is unapologetically direct and a fully realised force of controlled anger and swaggering musical truth.
