ALBUM REVIEW: Rock ‘n’ Roll Saviour by The Deadnotes

Music Review

The Deadnotes have always lived and breathed music, but with Rock ‘n’ Roll Saviour, they’ve sharpened their vision and delivered an album that feels like it’s a culmination of everything they’ve fought for. Produced by Bob Cooper, the album blends classic rock vibes with the duo’s own modern edge and proves that The Deadnotes aren’t just carrying the torch. They’re setting their own stage ablaze.

The tone of reinvention  is sent with “December 31st” while “Jesus Christ (I’m Sick And Tired Of Falling In Love)” pulse with urgency and capture the highs and lows of chasing something just out of reach. “Show Me What Love Is” throws in a brass section and a funk-inspired groove that dares one to dance while pondering modern romance.

A standout track is “Jolene (I’m In Love With A Superstar)”. It flips a familiar narrative by  offering a fresh perspective that challenges how we interpret relationships. Meanwhile, “Reservoir” is pure escapism with keys and surf guitar propelling the song forward like a road trip anthem built for wide-open highways.

From soaring melodies to raw and unfiltered honesty, Rock ‘n’ Roll Saviour captures the chaos, struggle, and ultimate redemption that music can offer. The Deadnotes have crafted an album that doesn’t just celebrate rock but reminds us why we needed it in the first place.
