Shelby Lynn Madison‘s debut EP, Echoes of Goodbye, out on March 29th, is an exploration of letting go and finding strength in goodbye. Across its four tracks, Shelby’s emotional vocals and heartfelt lyrics echo with themes of resilience and sacrifice.
On the release of Echoes of Goodbye, Shelby says,

“Take Tennessee,” a collaboration with songwriter Jakob Miller, looks at the struggles of balancing dreams with relationships. With lyrics from the heart, Shelby navigates the tension between pursuing one’s passion and maintaining connections, inviting one to ponder the sacrifices inherent in chasing one’s dreams.
What sets Shelby apart is her ability to infuse traditional country twang and stylings with raw emotion, as showcased in the heartfelt ballad “Leave the Leaving.” Here, her vocals soar with a rare authenticity, offering solace in the face of goodbyes.
Echoes of Goodbye concludes with “Too Long Gone,” a touching tribute to Madison’s brother, who has faced his own challenges. Written in a burst of inspiration, the song serves as a testament to the enduring power of love and familial bonds.
