DEBUT SINGLE: “Mundane Sunday” by Grack Mack & the Pack

The four piece Grack Mack and the Pack are making their mark on the new year with their debut single, “Mundane Sunday”. With their effortless blend of grooves, melodies, and lyrics from the heart, the band is catchy and comforting.

“Mundane Sunday” wonderfully shows that the band are raw and real. Sharing their own experiences through the lyrics. It offers a vulnerable look into not only the band, but the human psyche.

On the song, frontwoman, Grace Mackenzie says,

“I grew up attending church every Sunday, being two completely different people who shared the same fear of not being accepted by my social groups in school or church. Even though the familiarity was comfortable, I was never myself in that place. Moving to university has allowed me to combine those two characters, accepting myself for who I am and enjoying life outside that circle. ‘Mundane Sunday’s’ is about spending my Sunday’s with someone who didn’t exist in the world that I grew up in.”

While a lovely bassline echoes throughout the “Mundane Sunday”, the drums provide the heartbeat of the song. They pulsate with an infectious, toe tapping, upbeat tempo that is anything but mundane. It allows the guitar to dance across the beat with ease and allows Grace to weave a narrative with her soft and ethereal voice.

“Mundane Sunday” is infused with heart, soul, and energetic grooves.
