Emerging from the heart of Kentucky’s music scene, Buried Truth is a hardcore powerhouse that is here to shake the foundations of heavy music. Formed in 2022 from a combination of some of the region’s most formidable bands, Buried Truth combines the raw intensity of their collective experience into a singular and devastating force.

The band’s lineup is a powerhouse of talent, featuring Daniel Brown on vocals (ex-Left to the Wolves), guitarists Kevin Thoroughman (ex-10 Year Winter) and Zach Honeycutt, Doyle Huskey on bass (ex-City of Sirens), and Cameron Covington on drums. The five piece have created a sound that is designed to captivate as much as it destroys.

The band puts it plainly: they want to be heavy, make people move, and craft something unforgettable.

They’ve achieved just that with their latest single, “Defiled”. The relentless assault of ferocious guitars and thunderous blast beats strikes a powerful combination of heaviness and rhythm and has earned them a reputation as masters of blending raw intensity with infectious grooves and a band that demands attention.

Buried Truth are providing fans not only a cathartic purge but a whirlwind of sound and chaos with their sheer energy and aggression. With their EP, Tortured Ascension coming out in March, the quintet promises to deliver the kind of sonic assault that fans of heavy music crave. Buried Truth is crafting a movement, one crushing riff at a time.
