Hailing from the misty realms of Connecticut, Nevermøurn is a symphonic gothic metal with a blend of melodic death metal, black metal, and symphonic influences. With their theatrical storytelling, Nevermøurn is conducting The Rite of Truth – a ritual of admiration, deception, devastation, treason, and vengeance.
Formed during the tumultuous months of the 2020 pandemic, Nevermøurn was born from the creative minds of keyboardist Ryan “Bili Manik” Murphy, former drummer Jimmy Allison, and vocalist Rach Lux Karma. Bassist Lucas Dellaporta, drummer Jordie Kimball, and guitarist Rashawn Williams would soon join the fold.
In January 2023, Nevermøurn released their debut single, “Release the Demons,” followed by their debut record, The Rite of Truth, in June. The Rite of Truth follows the laws of karma, delving into the complex emotions of admiration, deception, devastation, treason, and vengeance. Each song takes one on a journey, weaving a tale of darkness and redemption that leaves a soul spellbound.
