EP REVIEW: Can’t Save Us All by Born in Blood

Hailing from Fort Worth, Texas, four piece Born in Blood’s forthcoming EP, Can’t Save Us All, out August 25th, is five in your face, brutally honest, and viciously heavy tracks.

The band says this of the inspiration of Can’t Save Us All,

Horror, organised religion, everyday violence with movies, games and personal experiences are all themes that feature prominently throughout the tracks.

On the lead single, “Inferno” the band adds,

This track probably has the most variety and movement throughout the song. It’s fast, chaotic, but also groovy. It pretty much sets you up for what the rest of the EP sounds like.

“Inferno” opens the EP and sets the tone, but it’s the title track, “Can’t Save Us All,” that truly steals the spotlight halfway through. This track leaves no room for missteps, delivering a visceral and unapologetically heavy experience that grips one by the throat and does not let go.

With a title like “Kill Kill,” one might expect nothing less than unbridled intensity, and Born in Blood delivers just that. The song is a perfect storm of face-melting guitars, infectious blast beats, and guttural vocals.

With soul crushing drums, monster guitars and bass, and growling vocals, Can’t Save Us All is an onslaught of brutally heavy music that will have fans craving more from Born in Blood.
