EP REVIEW: Delinquent by No Life

New Zealand heavy hitters, No Life have released their highly anticipated EP, Delinquent.

The six tracks on Delinquent not only showcases No Life’s fusion of nu-metalcore and deathcore but also their adaptability, dynamic technical skills and powerful sound.

The power of No Life’s sound lies in equal parts between vocals and music. The four-piece of Connor, vocals, D.J, guitars, Mitch, bass, and Kahi, drums provide fiery lyrics and aggressive breakdowns that draw inspiration from the likes of Emmure, Slipknot, Alpha Wolf and Dealer to name a few.

“Puke” features Plague of The Fallen, it and others “The Lies We Tell Ourselves”, “Knives Edge”, and “Look Inside” assault the ears with brutal melodies and visceral vocals.

The relentless and fierce power that is the very essence of who No Life is resonates through every track on Delinquent and it delivers a soulful and emotionally charged punch to the gut. From start to finish, Delinquent is a display of musical heaviness that will no doubt solidify the band’s position as a metal powerhouse in New Zealand but worldwide.
