From Hossegor, The Dead Krazukies have unleashed a ridiculously infectious track in “Captain Crust” that is a wonderful blend of bands such as Pennywise, Rise Against, and Anti-Flag.
I was immediately hooked on “Captain Crust” with the opening guitar riff and then the harmonious vocals start and just when one thinks how does it get any better, vocalist Maider steps in and steals the show.
Maider’s vocals are the love child of Tim McIlrath, Courtney Love, and Brody Dalle. The vocals are filled with an angsty raspiness that just carries “Captain Crust” from slick catchy riff to slick catchy beats.
Taken from the upcoming album, From the Underground (June 16), “Captain Crust” is a bouncy groove filled cacophony of angst, punk, good times, and rock and roll.
