There are a plethora of quotes about consistency. Oscar Wilde criticised it while countless others have praised it, but no matter what side of the argument one falls on, in artistry and music, consistency can either make or break you. Consistency can leave a mark on the hearts and ears of fans.
Consistency is one of the things I enjoy about being a fan of Saving Abel and their latest single, “Fire” is a reminder of that.
They’re a band that’s going to give me heavy, empowering, and catchy track after track. Their growth from their self-titled debut album to now shows their constant growth as humans but also as musicians and artists.
Saving Abel doesn’t reinvent the wheel for music, nor do they need to. The fellas are rooted in their authenticity as rockers and draw from the endless talent that each member has coursing through their veins.
Not that Saving Abel needs to prove anything to anyone, but they have once again proven with “Fire” they have the power and the strength to remain a force in rock music. “Fire” is another anthem in their arsenal of songs that get stuck in one’s head and serves as a great reminder that one should never give up on their dreams. It also just happens to be an infectious damn song with heavy guitars, bass, and drums, just like any great rock song should be.
