Swansea’s Baby Schillaci just unleashed their latest single, “The Flatliners,” and it’s nothing short of a sonic assault. As the band gears up for the release of their debut album The Soundtrack on October 2nd, this track is a thank-you to fans and a brutal reminder of their unrelenting energy. Drawing from post-punk and noise rock, “The Flatliners” is a showcase of the band’s signature raw and aggressive sound that hits with unapologetic force.

The song opens with a whirlwind of wailing guitars that immediately set a gritty and menacing tone. What follows are rumbling basslines and heavy, thundering drums, layering chaos with precision as they ride through the track. The result is a volatile mix of noise and melody that induce comparisons to legendary acts like At the Drive-In and Fugazi while still carving out their own path.

One of the most notable elements of “The Flatliners” is how it manages to be both chaotic and carefully crafted. It’s a track that embodies grit and grime yet feels controlled and deliberate, a balance few bands can achieve. Baby Schillaci’s fierce live performances have gained them a devoted following, and this single captures that same intensity.

With The Soundtrack set for release on October 2nd, “The Flatliners” stands as a perfect preview of the blistering fury Baby Schillaci promises to deliver. “The Flatliners” is a brutal, unfiltered masterclass in post-punk chaos and packs a punch of unfiltered fury.
