Allow us to introduce See the Witch and their eponymous debut single, “See the Witch,” and their follow-up release, “Tooth of the Wolf,” both featured on their forthcoming debut EP, Us Others. These two tracks are nothing short of brilliant, with captivating riffs and delivering an overall in your face rock-n-roll experience. Both“See the Witch” and “Tooth of the Wolf” exemplify the distinctive sound of See the Witch, a band I feel that is poised to ascend as the next rising stars in the rock scene.
Hailing from Swansea, See the Witch has already begun to make significant waves, earning accolades and support from respected platforms such as RGM and BBC Introducing, among others.
Their debut single, “See the Witch”, which was released on September 29th, immediately caught my ear with the bass. As a known enthusiast of bass, I was hooked from the very first riff. The drums, guitars, and vocals seamlessly complemented the entrancing bass, creating a musical experience that is nothing short of exceptional.
Continuing the hooky bass, “Tooth of the Wolf” is a rock ‘n’ roll dream that transports listeners back to the glory days of Guns N’ Roses. This track evokes memories of iconic GnR classics, specifically “Nightrain”, “Mr. Brownstone”, and “You Could Be Mine”. See the Witch skillfully merges the best elements of these songs into a single, magnificent composition, featuring sinister riffs, deep rhythms, and gritty vocals.
If these two songs are a mere glimpse into what Us Others will be, then I for one cannot wait to hear the remaining songs. With their glorious guitar and bass riffs, rhythms, and vocals, See the Witch is a band to watch.
