East coast meets West coast as Glassio and Beauty Queen join musical forces for “A Friend Like You” and marks the return of Glassio after a 14-month hiatus.

Foreboding and brooding with luscious melodies that invoke setting summer suns and rising harvest moons, the song is an ode to the ‘friend that sends you down a bad choice road’.

Glassio and Beauty Queen blend their musical talents to form a perfect pairing, or perhaps I should say a perfect friendship.

Albeit one without a bad choice.

Their musical union compliments each other as Glassio, known for ominous dance beats, and Beauty Queen, known for coming of age indie pop form a sound that is the perfect soundtrack to friends who sometimes assist in bad choices or perhaps even assist in what can be seen in hindsight as awesome bad life choices. You know the ones that appear awful but upon reflection ended up being great.
