While Exiled Hope, the blackened power metal project led by Sofia Frasz, is gearing up to release her third album Apocrypha, her Bandcamp-only single, “Altar of Moloch,” is now available on Spotify, YouTube, and other digital services.

“Altar Of Moloch” is a crucial piece of the Apocrypha story, referencing the conclusion of the debut album, Exiled Hope.

The song marks a pivotal moment when the protagonist discovers the true nature of the power that corrupt city leaders have harnessed for immortality through secret ritual sacrifices, including that of the character Hope. Demonic entities taunt the protagonist, tempting him with the promise of immortality and challenging his resolve. The song reflects his horror upon realising the dark and twisted nature of the power he has been tempted to embrace.
