Nashville-based power trio Nehoda has unleashed their first single, “Bells,” from their anticipated self-titled album, set for release on September 27, 2024. The track showcases the band’s evolution, melding alternative rock, grunge, and blues into a seamless, evocative piece that encapsulates their unique sound.

Opening with a brooding guitar riff that immediately draws one in, “Bells” sets the stage for Nehoda‘s signature blend of classic and contemporary influences. Patrick Nehoda’s gritty vocals deliver introspective lyrics with a raw honesty that pays homage to the band’s diverse influences, including Neil Young, Nirvana, and Howlin’ Wolf.

The song’s arrangement highlights the band’s chemistry, with Chris “Chip” Heard’s percussion adding a layer of complexity to the track’s structure. The interplay between Grayson Papa’s bass lines and Nehoda’s guitar creates a rich, textured soundscape that feels both expansive and intimate.

“Bells” benefits from a polished yet authentic production that complements the track’s emotional weight. This single offers a tantalising glimpse into the sonic journey that Nehoda promises on their forthcoming album.
