A nod to the iconic arcade game, Dance Dance Revolution, arrives in the form of Florida’s Super Monster Party‘s latest single, “Dance Dance Revolution (Till The Death)”.
Born from a fan’s request, the band says this of the song,
“‘Dance Dance Revolution (Till the Death)’ is the second single we released from our upcoming new EP Rage Quit, which will be released sometime in 2024. It’s a song inspired by the popular dance game of the same name. The song takes you on a journey as a player inside the game with some twists and turns.”
Super Monster Party executes the musical twist and turns with superb race and finesse. While I was already a fan of the song from the first wailing guitar note, the saxophone had me shouting yasss!
With award winning saxophonist Hugo Lee and Ukraine’s Oleh Andrievsky on guitar, the two battle it out and while there may only be one winner, the listener, their contribution to “Dance Dance Revolution (Till The Death)” accentuates the already feel good track with more feel good fun.
“Dance Dance Revolution (Till The Death)” will be part of Super Monster Party‘s 2024 EP Rage Quit.
