Sometimes all I need or want in a song is aggression.
The force de jour that is Dieth features Dave Ellefson (The Lucid, ex-Megadeth) on bass, Guilherme Miranda (ex-Entombed A.D.) on guitars and vocals, and Michał Łysejko (ex-Decapitated) on drums provides just the right amount of aggression with their single, “Don’t Get Mad…Get Even”.
From their upcoming debut, To Hell And Back, (June 2 on Napalm Records), Dave says this of the song,
‘Don’t Get Mad…Get Even!’ is about the champion inside us that helps overcome and rise above the challenges. Don’t get bitter… get better!
While Guilherme further adds,
When things fall apart, instead of pointing the finger at others, you can turn around, work on yourself, do your best and find your way to get truly even.
And offering wisdom, Michał says,
In the confrontation between the stream and the rock, the stream will win – not by strength, but by perseverance.
“Don’t Get Mad…Get Even” is wonderfully aggressive and thrashes the senses with its fast and furious guitars, heart crunching drums, and fist pumping anthem-like chorus.
Whether you’re getting better instead of bitter, working on yourself to do your best, or persevering, “Don’t Get Mad…Get Even” is the song that allows you to channel your inner warrior.
