With its driving guitars and unfiltered spirit, SLIP~ons’ “Graystone” captures the thrill of 80s punk nostalgia, while bringing a fresh, punchy energy. Legendary frontman Brock Pytel channels his gritty vocal style into clever storytelling, reviving memories of wild nights at Detroit’s Graystone venue. The track moves with slamming rhythms and harmonising gang vocals that push it beyond typical power-pop.

As a tribute to Detroit’s punk scene, the video embraces a raw aesthetic with animated scenes and vintage flyers.

Brock notes,

“Nobody needs to see us old guys dancing… animating it felt like a perfect solution.”

Combining attitude with memorable melodies, “Graystone” feels like a standout offering for fans of classic punk and power-pop alike.
