Caitlin Mahoney‘s upcoming Live at Retrophonics Studio EP (March 21st) showcases a new side of her artistry, with the standout track “IDKHTTYN” offering a raw and heartfelt performance. Stripped down from its original pop setting, the song is reimagined with folk and Americana influences that highlight Caitlin’s expressive vocals.

Recorded live at the historic Retrophonics Recording Studio, the track’s unfiltered energy and absence of a studio polish create an intimate and sincere listening experience. Howdy’s (Landon Gay) pedal steel adds a wistful touch which complements Caitlin’s rich storytelling.

The organic chemistry between the musicians makes this version of “IDKHTTYN” a true reinvention by capturing a moment of pure musical connection. Caitlin’s versatility shines through as she embraces a live format, proving that a great song, delivered with honesty and passion, can thrive in any setting.
