Sylvan Esso came onto my musical radar from a friend in Australia when she heard “H.S.K.T.” on a online British radio program. I suppose it is ironic perhaps since the band is from North Carolina (my home state). I was an instant fan!
Their new single “PARAD(w/m)E” is their signature infectious and catchy sound. What sounds simplistic is a complex sound of harmonies and musical beats that are sure to uplift the soul. This song is perfect for the summers of the Southern Hemisphere and will keep those in the winters of the Northern Hemisphere warm.
