From her forthcoming album sophomore Strange Adrenaline (October 6th), “Rumours” finds Australia’s Nat Vazer in the dark backstreets of Hollywood.
While a departure from Nat’s normal sound, she says this of “Rumours”,
‘Rumours’ paints a picture of recurring trauma. It’s like a creature born in childhood innocence but keeps re-manifesting throughout your life in different ways.
Often ethereal and effervescent with her voice, the departure allows Nat to intensely explore not only the said trauma but her voice. There’s a refined strength that echoes through Nat’s voice that is more than just about healing but being strong and surviving the darkness.
