Back in my radio days, I had the extreme pleasure of listening to Chris Janson play for a meeting room chock full of radio station employees. He was doing the legwork and promoting his self-titled EP that features one of my favourites songs, “Better I Don’t”. The meeting room was cramped and I’m sure more than half of the people in that room don’t even remember Chris’ performance or his name.
That performance made me a fan of Chris’ the moment he strummed his acoustic guitar and I’ve been one since.
For National Beer Day, he released “Tap That”, a feel good party anthem.
Chris says this of the song,
This is a hard rockin, party driven, beer drinkin song. Always loved it, and I hope the fans love it as much as I do.
Whether Chris cranks out songs about love, feel good songs, or party anthems, they never fail to be catchy and connecting.
Chris also has a wonderful way with words. They flow with ease and he and his writing partners craft infectious tune after infectious tune.
“Tap That” is sure to be a summer time jam on all the lakes, beaches, and riverbeds across the States and that party will continue to the bars and into the wee hours of the morning.
