I feel that if there was a photo needed next to the words, dreamy, tempting, master seducer of music, it might belong to Dräger.
He’s either making music that makes one weak in the knees like “Brooklyn BB”, “Midnight Mystery” or gives one weak knees from the it’s beats like “Killer in the Night” or “The Passenger”.
Either way, Spencer Draeger the man artistically known as Dräger knows how to cripple anyone listening to him.
With his cover of “Wicked Game”, he provides one a choice, if they so desire, to choose a lovely piano based airy cover that is heartbreakingly beautiful. While Chris Issak’s version of the song was rooted more in desire and lust, Dräger’s version is built on the foundations of a broken heart.
The second version of “Wicked Game”, an electric filled jam with gorgeous bass lines and lush synths loses the heartbreak and feels more like a song sewn out of spite and acknowledgement that one has been fooled.
Both versions show Dräger’s versatility to break hearts, increase pulses, and send one to the dance floor.
