“Cross the Line” finds Crimson Riot sharpening their punk instincts into something leaner and more direct by riding speed and melody in the same breath while letting years of shared history show through the cracks. The track moves fast but it never feels rushed. Powered by tight familial chemistry that turns frustration into forward motion rather than noise for its own sake, Roxy Gunn’s vocals cut with a purpose carry fatigue and defiance together as the band locks into a rhythm that is infectious and bouncy. There is a sense of lines finally being drawn with hooks that land cleanly and a chorus built to be shouted back from a packed room. As a teaser of the forthcoming album, Third Time’s A Charm (March 20th), “Cross the Line” channels hard lessons into a song that feels decisive, focused, and ready to push past old limits.
