Mylo Bybee’s Revisions (February 20th) EP captures a band refining its emotional range without sanding down their edges. The opener, “I Wish You Well” anchors the release with a reflective gaze by pairing spacious melodies with a sense of hard earned clarity. From there, the EP pivots into “Surrendered Notions” which burns bright and fast by threading high energy rock with flashes of punk and emo vibes that rush the senses but does not overwhelm them. “Liar” pulls the pace down by letting space and restraint carry the tension, while “Time Machine” leans into the heartfelt that grips without being over the top. Tracks like “Misinformed” and “Scaredy Cat” round out the set by embracing noise, momentum, and personality in equal measure. Revisions is a tight and emotionally aware EP that shows a band learning how to hit harder by choosing its moments. With the EP, Mylo Bybee sound focused yet restless and use contrast as their strength.
