As I Lay Dying has returned with their first new single in five years, “Burden,” marking a significant moment in their two-decade-long career. Released through Napalm Records, “Burden” is an anthem that showcases the band’s trademark intensity, featuring soaring choruses, intricate guitar solos, and relentless energy. The track, co-produced by Phil Sgrosso and Hiram Hernandez, shows the band’s ability to blend their melodic history with modern aggression.
The release of “Burden” is accompanied by a high-energy music video, directed by Tom Flynn, that captures the song’s intensity and the band’s dynamic performance. In conjunction with the single and video release, As I Lay Dying has announced their 2024 European headline tour, Through Storms Ahead, starting on November 15 in Würzburg, Germany.
The tour, featuring support from Caliban, Decapitated, and Left to Suffer, will traverse several countries, concluding on December 15 in Oberhausen, Germany. Tickets go on sale this Friday May 24, offering fans the chance to experience these electrifying performances live.
