League of Distortion’s latest single, “Chainsaw,” is a visceral blast of energy that refuses to be ignored. Taken from their upcoming album Galvanize, out on October 25,, the track is a potent blend of heavy and aggressive riffs and sharp electronic elements that push modern metal forward. From the moment the opening kicks in, one is gripped by its raw intensity.

To match that intensity is the performance video that is wonderfully “horror-esque” and perhaps a lesson that no one can escape karma. The power behind “Chainsaw” lies in its ability to channel rage into a song that feels like a battle cry. Frontwoman Anna “Ace” Brunner’s vocals switch between haunting melodies and fierce growling verses while the music drives the intensity and urgency
