Reminding me of David Bowie in his video “Ashes to Ashes”, R E L does just that as she strips away the makeup and allows herself the freedom to experience, heal, and be her authentic self without having to conform to a mask. With each layer pulled away, R E L reveals the raw beauty of vulnerability and genuine emotion.
R E L is the alter ego of singer songwriter Arielle Sitrick and she’s making her own mark on music with the self coined genre ‘evocapop’ – evocative pop.
