In the second single, “Society! (There’s No Such Thing)” from his upcoming debut album Amalgamation, Bite Marcus takes a biting look at Margaret Thatcher or more so a look at all things anti-Thatcher.
The video was filmed and co-directed by Elisha Stephens in the artist’s flat that resides in the iconic The Haçienda.
More industrial than the synth pop title track, “Society! (There’s No Such Thing)” is a moody and gothic banger that echoes with bits and pieces of Depeche Mode and Bauhaus.
It further showcases the artistic boundaries the DIY artist continues to push.
