Channelling her inner sass and a little bit of ‘f’ you attitude, singer-songwriter Sidney Bird has released her latest single and video, “Bitters”.
Sidney dances the line between western pop and indie pop and has made a name for herself while sharing stages with Natasha Bedingfield and Hans Williams.
“Bitters” not only showcases Sidney’s musical talent but also serves as a commentary on encounters with snobbish young men. The song’s music video, shot against the picturesque backdrop of Palm Springs, adds a cinematic touch to the narrative, weaving a comedic tale of a housewife and her pool boy.
While the song might be about young men in high society who act childish and chauvinistic, the song could really be about any male who acts in this behaviour as childish and chauvinistic knows no age limit.
