Emerging alt-rock sensation The Rolling People are setting the world on fire with their youthful energy and emotionally packed song, “Before It’s Gone”. From their forthcoming EP of the same name, the song is a reflection of the collapsing world around them.
On the song, vocalist Charlie McNichol says,
“We wrote ‘Before It’s Gone’ as a continuation of our new chapter as a band, exploring a richer sound. I wanted to write a song that had a massive lifting chorus with a more ballady, but still driving and heavy with the feeling we are on a journey to grab our chance before it disappears. It’s us exploring the idea of living your own life and doing everything you can to reach your ambitions.”
Charlie should consider his goal complete. The young band who I believe aren’t even in their twenties yet are wise beyond their years and hold a talent that makes me think of Oasis.
“Before It’s Gone” is filled with rich vocals, thrilling guitars, and rumbling grooves. There’s an infectious swagger to the song that isn’t ego driven but passion and talent driven. It echoes and reverberates with both fear and optimism that is awe inspiring and captivating.
