Major Moment delivers a striking exploration of personal struggle and emotional resilience in their latest single, “You’ll Never Know.”
Drawing from intense personal experiences, particularly the complexities of familial relationships during tumultuous times, the song captures a journey through pain and the quest for understanding.
Vocalist Sasha Razumova reflects,
“’You’ll Never Know’ was one the first demos I started myself from scratch, which was extremely hard, but somehow within an hour or so I had a pretty strong instrumental idea that we developed into what you can hear now. As I was writing it, I knew right away what this song was going to be about. Having difficult relationships with parents is very hard, apparently, it was something I had to deal with for the first time and in the worst possible circumstance, while your home country is at war with its neighbor, and while being on the opposite sides of the Earth with your parents. So I think this song captured my feelings very accurately. I hope it will give strength to someone else going through conflicts alike.”
There’s a raw honesty that echoes throughout that song that brings a weight to the song that one can feel and hear.
The arrangement is a masterclass in dynamics, seamlessly shifting from high-energy electronics and heavy riffs to quieter, reflective moments. This ebb and flow creates a compelling listening experience that ensures every twist in the song’s structure feels earned and impactful.
“You’ll Never Know” is a reflection of resilience and personal growth, crafted by a band that understands the intricacies of life’s challenges.
