5 Artists to Watch in 2025

To be honest, I should have just repeated our 2024 list for 2025 as four of the five artists were from our 2024 list. Should I have read our 2024 list to avoid repeats? Probably. But if I’m honest, I just go with my gut and my spidey senses say these are the five to watch into 2025.

First up, 2024 repeaters:

Baby Schillaci – UK – the foursome stormed onto the scene in 2023 and have never really looked back, releasing their debut album, The Soundtrack this year. I predict that 2025 will be a massive year for the band. Tours, music, and more!

Erotic Secrets of Pompeii – UK – the band hit the ground running with their debut album Mondo Maleficum released at the beginning of 2024, released “The Hand that Did the Deed”, welcomed Louise Schwarz on bass, and toured relentlessly. They’ve already hinted at new music for 2025 and I have zero doubt it will be as great as their debut.

Qveen Herby – US – 2024 saw the qveen tour across the US, release the EP The Alchemist and Stripped (Live from the Herby House), plus the singles “RIP” and “Frankenstein” featuring Tech N9ne. 2025 will more than likely see the dame tour in the UK/Europe plus release new music if not an EP or two.

The Terrifying Lows – Australia – this Aussie artist kept the world waiting until November to drop their first single of the year, “When I Feel Like Giving Up” and it was worth the wait. Tyler Millott, the man behind The Terrifying Lows, has already hinted at more music in 2025!

Newbie to the music world and our last artist to watch in 2025 is Australia’s Dottie. Her debut single was the type of song that puts my faith back in the young artists emerging into the scene. Her voice wasn’t cookie-cutter nor her presence. She’s not trying to be a copy paste version of anyone out, just being her authentic self and it shined brightly on her debut single, “Train Wreck”. If it’s any indication, then there is no stopping what’s to come in 2025.

Recapping the remaining artists of our 11 Artists to Watch from 2024.

Adult Leisure – UK – from our guesses from their myriad of social activities toward the end of 2024, we feel we were correct that they were keeping their foot on the pedal for 2024. The band released two tracks, “Borderline” and “Kiss me Like You Miss Her” while playing live throughout Europe. They’ll still be a force in 2025.

Chinchilla – UK – the fierce vocalist had a busy 2024, releasing songs “The Chain” for the video series, My Lady Jane, and “Do You See Me Now” with Isobel Waller-Bridge for the series Sweetpea, plus her EPs Flytrap and Live: Summer ‘24.

Go-Jo – Australia – the broccoli loving viral sensation toured Europe and Australia and released “Cry About”. I can’t imagine 2025 will be broccoli free as the dancing gent featured several updates from the studio so there should be more new music next year.

Kip Moore – US – Mr. Moore stayed busy touring the US, Canada, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, UK, and Europe, left long time label MCA Nashville for Virgin Music Group, plus released four singles “Live Here to Work”, “Learning as I Go”, “Flowers in December”, and “Wildfire” which may or may not be on his upcoming sixth studio album. 2025 will no doubt be another busy year for Kip and the Slow Hearts.

Lord of the Lost – Germany – honestly, I couldn’t keep up with the LOTL gents. They toured non-stop in 2024 across the UK, Europe, and the US, announced 2025 shows in Germany, Latin America, and Australia, added Benjamin Mundigler to guitars, keyboards, and back vocals, and dropped a new single with Feuerschwanz. With their 2025 tours ahead of them, I feel like there will be new music from the band, as well as Chris Harms’ solo album.

Ren – UK – the independent artist might have had some legal and health setbacks, but 2024 saw the gent win multitude of awards for the video “Money Game (Part 3)”, was featured on three singles, and released five of his own singles. He’s already hinting at new music for 2025 so it looks as if it will be another big year for Ren.

Sub-Radio – US – the band toured across the US, released their live EP, Past Selves (Live at Spacebomb Studios), plus singles “Ceilings”, “Pink Lemonade”, and “Onto Me”. They’ve already announced 2025 tours which I suspect will also lead to new music from the band as well.
