Andy Tourle, the bass player for UK’s The Equatorial Group, released his self-titled album last month. The album was produced by his brother, Mike Tourle, and features backing vocals from his niece, Polly, on “One Heck Of A Man” and “Doing What I Do Best”.
Andy says this of his self-titled album:
Having played bass for 10 years in my band, The Equatorial Group, I started to record some of my own songs at the beginning of 2021. I purchased a zoom recorder whilst I was furloughed for a couple of months. This collection of songs were recorded in Cornwall in March 2022.
What I like about “One Heck of Man” is that I get Mason Jennings, Benji Hughs, Ben Folds, Hayes Carle vibes.
