Australia-based artist, coolthekid, is making waves in the music industry with two latest singles, “COOLAID” and “NO MORE.”

Over a decade in the making “COOLAID” showcases coolthekid‘s evolution as an artist, blending spacious synths, guitar swells, and self-examining lyrics that look into his inner conflicts. In “COOLAID,” coolthekid confronts his fear of irrelevance and the weight of ageing, resulting in a genuine and heartfelt musical journey. Drawing inspiration from personal experiences, such as being shelved by a label and sacrificing well-being for approval. “COOLAID” serves as a poignant reflection on the pitfalls of seeking validation at the expense of oneself.

coolthekid‘s latest single, “NO MORE” is a follow-up to “COOLAID.” The song dives into the struggles of being in a one-sided relationship and further builds upon the themes explored in the previous single. On coolthekid’s upcoming six-track EP, both songs offer one a glimpse into his inner conflicts and personal struggles.

Through poignant lyrics and melodies, coolthekid navigates the complexities of relationships and the toll they can take on one’s well-being. “NO MORE” invites one to place themselves in the shoes of the protagonist, exploring the highs and lows of love and loss.

With both songs, coolthekid proves that a journey through the inner mind can be a source of creative inspiration but also a source of perseverance to never stop chasing one’s dream.
