limbs came onto my radar when Yuri/makingshit an artist I follow on Instagram gram posted she had created their album artwork. Of course I was intrigued and had to check them out as I do adore her art.
I couldn’t find more about limbs other than there are several other bands and artists who go by the name in various stages of capitalisation. This limbs does however have an Instagram and are on Spotify, Apple Music, and Youtube according to their Linktree and if Youtube is correct, music and lyrics are by Rory Salters.
What I really enjoy about the self titled EP is that it’s 5 songs of epic chill and relax. Perfect for any season of sitting and watching the sun rise or set.
The opening track “Cold Tea” has an absolute fun bass line as does “Laundry Day”. “Weak Daze” could easily be a 60’s funk song and the bass line in it is wicked as hell.
