HOT TRACK: “Loverman” by Go-Jo

I stumbled upon Marty Zambotto, aka Go-Jo at SXSW Sydney by sheer luck. I caught the last two songs of his set and immediately checked the event schedule to see he was playing one more time where I caught his full set. I was also completely unaware that the gent was a viral sensation.

Having figured out the name of the music game, Go-Jo has built both an online following as well as an music audience that is enamoured by his good looks, thousand watt smile, humble attitude, and his penchant for crafty and infectious tracks.

Among his arsenal of infectious tracks, is his current single, “Loverman”

Absolutely explosive live, “Loverman” captures the fun and dynamic energy that exudes from Go-Jo while performing or while standing still. From the lyrics to the bass to the guitars, the song is upbeat and insanely catchy.

Raised in Manjimup, Western Australia and currently based in Sydney, Go-Jo doesn’t just rely on his charming persona alone. When he’s not meticulously producing music for others, he’s producing his own with the same keen eye. That attention to detail allows Go-Jo the freedom to invite joy and liveliness into every song.

Not only are those emotions effortlessly embodied in “Loverman,” but so is the charisma of Go-Jo himself. The song showcases both Go-Jo’s undeniable talent for writing irresistible music and his magnetic persona.
