LISTEN: “Keep It to Myself” by Sadye

Sadye returns with her third infectious track of the year, and it’s an absolute banger.

Produced by Slush Puppy (known for working with artists Leah Kate and Nessa Barrett), “Keep It to Myself” is a lively alt-pop smash. Filled to the brim with infectious beats, the song is and will be an anthem for those who are infatuated or in situationship. If you’re blessed to not be either, then “Keep It to Myself” will be the summer dance anthem that will turn up the heat and set pulses racing with wanton lust and desire.

On the song, the pop princess cult leader says,

I wrote it about the same relationship I talked about in my first release, ‘Biblical’. I was embarrassed to be stuck in a loop with this person, sneaking them out of my apartment. The song is definitely me sarcastically biting back, telling them I know it isn’t love and all the non-feelings are mutual. Slush Puppy came in and produced it out. He gave me the fuck boy, circus anthem of my dreams.

Like “Biblical” and “Dark Side”, “Keep It to Myself” not only showcases Sadye‘s captivating vocal delivery but also her innate talent for crafting scandalous and ferocious wordplay. The song weaves a spellbinding magic, drawing one in with its irresistible blend of sarcastic fun and funkiness.
